KARTING ARMCHAIR SILVER TILLET T11t

The T11 is the most popular adult shape and the one most used by professional karting teams and manufacturers. With each generation growing up, a new seat was needed. A large flat area was created at the base and combined with a more reclined backrest angle of 58°, significantly reducing the head height. While lowering body weight provides a performance advantage, it is important to maintain an upright shoulder position to allow sufficient power to be transferred to steering. The driver is likely to “pull to turn” if reclined too far, which is bad for handling and body stability. The T11 shape allows for the correct angle of the upper torso to maintain firm control and therefore performance. The T11 is manufactured using our own highly developed moulding technique, which creates a seat with a consistent weight and thickness laminate. It also has smooth surfaces at the front and rear, keeping the seat looking professional and clean. Unlike previous mechanized production methods, this unique system gives us the opportunity to fine-tune the stiffness. The T11 model also benefits from a specially developed high-strength resin and contains a much higher fiber-to-resin ratio than normal laminates. This makes the seat less likely to splinter during drilling and better able to withstand impacts. Another benefit of this system is that we can cosmetically change the seats to have a beautiful carbon, silver or vivid neon finish.
