Description
Designed for serious kart racers, the RS7K is the karting-specific version of the RS7 with an extra-durable, non-flame-retardant interior. Based on the HP7 design and featuring a lightweight carbon composite shell, the RS7-K utilizes an innovative shell and shield design to improve acoustic comfort while enhancing aerodynamic performance and energy absorbing capabilities. The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 intake and exhaust channels that can be used with or without air intake covers. The RS7-K's Dual Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) visor and rubber gasket seal prevent water from entering the helmet in wet conditions. The Snell K2020 RS7-K is the top choice for karters who demand superior features, light weight and an excellent fit. The RS7-K features an aerodynamic front fascia, ultra-light carbon composite shell and pro-style interior with neck padding for exceptional comfort. Flow-through vents in the chin bar at the front of the helmet help increase airflow and prevent the shield from fogging up. The RS7-K has been designed to perform in all forms of open wheel and open bay racing with a sleek aerodynamic profile. An optional aero kit is also available to improve helmet performance and provide increased stability at higher speeds. The aero kit includes a chin bar stretcher that adds downforce to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and a rear spoiler that improves overall helmet stability. Both items come in an unpainted clear finish and attach with the included double sided adhesive that holds aggressively to the shell but can be easily removed without damaging the helmet finish. Included with the Optional Aero Kit: 2050062 - RS7-K Clear Cheek Pad with Chin Bar 2050031 - RS7-K Clear Rear Spoiler The RS7-K has a 3mm SE07 shield that features the SV SE07 pivot system and a thumb tab on the left side of the controller to allow for easy shield operation. Each helmet comes with a Dual Screen Anti-Fog Visor (DSAF) insert as standard equipment. The RS7-K also features Bell’s redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the RS7-K by using Bell’s cheek pad inserts in sizes from 5mm to 20mm to fine-tune the fit in the cheek area. The RS7-K is certified to the Snell K2020 standard, which requires the helmet to be tested to the Snell SA2020 impact test criteria, but does not require the helmet to be fire retardant. This allows the interior to be made of a more durable material to allow this helmet to be comfortable for years of racing.
