Description
Tire hardness has a big effect on your car's performance. A tire that's too hard won't bite, and a tire that's too soft can wear out quickly or even swell. Tire hardness also changes during its life cycle. To run at your best you need to keep track of all your tire hardnesses. This easy-to-use tool will help you do just that - quickly, accurately and easily.
NEW Digital Readout 0-100 (Shore 'A' Scale)
- Straight edge on rock durometer base for more consistent results
- Non-slip coating for better grip
- Calibration test block included
- Accurate and easy to use
- Includes hard case and bag
- Read in 0.5 increments
For more consistent results, move the durometer from a backward angle to a forward angle. The reading will rise to the highest (true) reading and then fall back down. Record the highest reading reached. The durometer must have a ruler on the base to do this correctly. If you simply push down, you may get inconsistent and inaccurate results.
