Description
The Sparco RW-10 Shield Pro line of Nomex® underwear is the lightest and most breathable on the market and is homologated to the new FIA 8856-2018 standard. When designing this new line of underwear, Sparco studied the driver’s seating position to ensure maximum fit and comfort. The strategic weaving of the material produces increased breathability along with articulation. The Shield Pro features a seamless construction with ultra-soft stretch material for a very comfortable fit. Shield Pro jerseys and boxers are treated with Sparco’s X-Cool treatment, which draws heat away from the body’s surface to cool the driver. In addition to cooling the driver, the X-Cool treatment has an antibacterial effect.
PRO RW-10 HOOD PROTECTION
The Shield Pro balaclava (hood) was designed with no seams in the mouth and chin area for added comfort when wearing a helmet. The traditional center seam at the front of the forehead is now offset to decrease any chance of pressure when wearing a helmet. The front is double layered for added fire protection and features an opening for the beverage system. Available in black, white or navy. SFI 3.3/5 and FIA 8856-2018 approved.
