The Superleggera is an evolution of the X-Light+ shoe. It was developed with Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen. He had direct feedback on what he wanted in his shoe. The Superleggera features a unique fire retardant stretch fabric that has been developed by Sparco engineers to be breathable and durable. Superleggera stretch fabric wraps the upper of the foot and ankle like a second skin and prevents dust, dirt or other materials from entering the shoe. The remaining upper is a breathable fabric material that provides support from the toe to the scar. These two features combine to produce one of the most comfortable and supportive racing shoes around. The Superleggera features a carbon fiber sole. The special carbon fiber was developed by Sparco engineers in the Sparco OEM Seating division. This carbon fiber is unique because it has been developed to be flexible, it is embedded in the sole and runs from the toe to the heel. Carbon fiber is visible through the window of the ultra-thin, oil-resistant and anti-static sole that offers greater sensitivity when pedaling. The sole extends to the back of the shoe for additional support. The Superleggera is available in four colours in sizes 37 to 48. Superleggera is FIA approved 8856-2018.
