TILLET P1 DEFENDER RIB PROTECTOR

P1 Defender, CIK Homologated Rib Protector from Tillett. The P1 Defender is a full body protector and is manufactured to exceed the latest FIA 8870-2018 safety specification. It retains the industry leading rib protection and comfort of the standard P1 whilst adding protection to the front and rear to mitigate other potential impacts. The P1 Defender uses a unique composite manufacturing process to make the load distribution panels strong, lightweight and thin. The panels have carefully sculpted profiles, formed from many years of experience gained moulding custom special parts for riders with significant rib issues. The panels are pitched over loads across the strongest areas of the ribcage whilst relieving the lower ribs which float and cannot take pressure.
