Designed for faster rise time, longer spark duration and increased performance. Unique design with premium quality wire, special low resistance windings and high turns ratio. Produces higher spark energy with switchless electronic ignition systems. For points application, the supplied 0.85 ohm ballast resistor must be used in conjunction with the vehicle's original ballast resistor, if equipped. Oversized molded housing with integral cooling fins and high capacity oil filled construction provide high thermal conductivity ensuring cool operation and long life. Extra tall bronzed Alkyd tower and integral voltage dam eliminate "flashover" to the primary terminals. Comes complete with mounting hardware and 0.85 ohm ballast resistor. Effective up to 6,500 RPM.
