SPARCO IL CARBON RIB PROTECTOR

Entirely designed and developed in Italy, thanks to SPARCO®’s several years of experience in the field of composite materials, the new CARBON protective corset for kart drivers offers maximum protection combined with incredible lightness that only carbon fibre shells can give. The two inner layers of foam material with shock-absorbing function (EPDM and PU have been specifically sized for the application) derive from the experience gained on Racing seats and in different applications for Supercars. CARBON is equipped with latest generation ultra-light webbing, the same one used in FIA-approved belts to offer the highest level of strength, safety and comfort for the driver who wants to wear the top of the line protective corset. CARBON, in addition to having a wide range of sizes, is even more adjustable in height, thanks to a new ultra-resistant Velcro Sparco Impact Technology: the new technology made in SPARCO® developed by combining a 4 mm EPDM material with a 6 mm PU foam that provides incredible performance in terms of anti-vibration and shock absorption. All energy absorption performances have been verified with an impact attenuation test provided for by standard EN 1621-2 with a mass of 2500 g (10 Joules) and a fall height of 50 cm.
