Description
Designed to complement Tilton’s current generation 600 Series aluminum firewall and cantilever mount pedal assemblies, the Tilton 600 Series accelerator pedal is designed to mount to the existing under-dash frame used for the brake and clutch pedal assembly, allowing customers to have one set of clutch, brake and accelerator pedals. It can also be used with previous generation Tilton 600 Series pedal assemblies. The accelerator pedal is designed to accept Tilton’s throttle linkage kits (sold separately), which are available with either mechanical linkage or cable drive systems. A steel extension arm kit, designed to connect throttle cables on mid- and rear-engine cars, is also available (P/N 72-183). The 600 Series accelerator pedal assembly features a rigid, lightweight forged aluminum frame and pedal arm, and provides a range of motion of approximately 30 degrees. As with Tilton’s current generation 600 Series aluminum firewall and cantilever mount pedal assemblies, the 600 Series throttle pedal allows for a variety of pedal pad configurations, with lateral, vertical, and angular adjustments available. It also features built-in throttle stops for both pedal directions. A pedal pad overlay with optional grip tape is included. Forged aluminum pedals designed for high rigidity and low weight Compatible with mechanical throttle linkage or ride-by-wire sensor (throttle linkage kits sold separately) Customizable throttle stop positioning Aluminum foot pads can be adjusted vertically, horizontally, and at an angle to suit individual rider preferences Low-friction, oil-impregnated bushing on pedal pivots
